We live at Milverton Road, a residential service for men and women with learning disabilities. Our house is located in Willesden Green good public transport links to nearby locations.

We would like you to support us to take part in our favourite activities, which include going swimming and bowling. We also enjoy cooking and gardening at home and regularly go to the cinema, places of worship and attend day services. We need your support as we have autism, epilepsy, behaviours which may challenge and are wheelchair users. This also means that some of us may need your help with our personal care.

Experience is preferred but not essential as we will provide full induction and training. You may work alone or as part of a team.

To oversee the deliver of care and support within the home Ensure that each person living in the home is given information and advice in an accessible way that enables them to make informed decisions about their care and support To lead, coach and mentor support workers To take the lead in ensuring that the care and support provided is person-centered: adopting the principles of Active Support enabling Life Long Learning for every person living within the home Ensure that Person Centered Plans are devised and adhered to Support the Manager in all aspects of the management of the care home

The ideal candidate will have QCF Level 3 or NVQ 3 qualification, evidence of managing staff performance. It is essential that you will have worked with Adults with Learning Disabilities, Person Centered Planning and Support Planning and have worked in a residential setting, including supervisory.
